PAGLALAKBAY SA INTRAMUROS, MANILA

HIGHLIGHTS

Called as the Walled City during the Spanish colonization. This historical landmark is now home to famous schools and universities like Lyceum, Mapua, Manila High School, Pamatasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and Colegio de Sta. Rosa. As well as historical landmarks like Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, Casa Manila and many more.

Intramuros was among the world's proudest cities - a splendidly preserved mediaval city, the only one of its kind in Asia. Restoration efforts can only recover a fraction of that glory; nevertheless, Intramuros is truly interesting to visit. It features narrow, cobbled-stone streets, historic buildings and churches, convents, and charming restaurants. The golf course surrounding the walls used to be the city moats.

HOW TO GET THERE:

By LRT 1: nearest station is United Nations Avenue; take a jeep bound for Pier or a cab towards Intramuros.

By Jeep: From Mabini Street and Pedro Gil station, hail a jeep bound for Pier; get off at the Bonifacio drive intersection; Plaza San Luis inside Intramuros is just 10 minutes away on foot. From Quezon City, get a jeep bound for Pier, get off at Aduana Street then walk towards Plaza San Luis.

Travel time from Manila City Hall to Intamuros is 10 minutes via public transport; from Quezon City, about one hour.

We noticed that the dim lights adds beauty to the place during the night. So, we decided to do a sequence of pictures that tells a simple story...

It is a long way to go, but I will go.

Ang entabladong ito ay masisilayan sa likod ng Golf Course. Sa harapan ng entabladong ito ay makikita ang iba't ibang pagkaing Pilipino na maaaring bilhin sa murang halaga lamang. Mura na, masarap pa! san ka pa? Ngunit ipagpaumanhin ninyo, hindi nga lang namin nakuhanan ng larawan ang iba't ibang putahe na maaaring pagpilian ;)

Ito ang makikitang kapaligiran sa harapan ng entablado.

Bahay Kubo sa puso ng Intramuros, Manila. Mayroon ditong iba't ibang larawan na likha ng mga Pilipino sa iba't ibang dako ng Pilipinas. Ipagpaumanhin ninyong muli, hindi namin nakuhanan ng larawan ang mga pinta sapagkat ito ay ipinagbabawal ;)

Ito ay malahiganteng Christmas Tree na gaw lamang sa mga recycled na bagay. Ito ay gawa sa mga dyaryo na kinulayan. 

Isa sa mga bagay na hindi dapat palampasin kung kayo ay mamamasyal sa Intramuros ay pagsakay sa kalesa. May kamahalan nga lang ito. Nasa 150-200 pesos ang bayad kung kayo ay maglilibot sa Intramuros sakay nito.

Ang iskulturang ito ay matatagpuan sa Rizal Park. hindi ko alam kung ano ito at kung sino ang iskultur nito. Pero alam ko na bahagi ito ng kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.
